Overview
The Competitors page (/competitors) lists the brands and domains AI might recommend instead of yours. This context improves prompts, insights, and visibility reporting by showing who you are compared against in AI-generated answers.

Prerequisites
- A saved Company profile with a clear overview
- At least a few known competitors (optional — Find more can help discover them)
Step-by-step
- Go to Competitors from the dashboard or open
/competitors. - Enter a competitor name or domain in the input field. Press Enter or click Add.
- Add each rival you care about. You can use brand names (
Acme) or domains (acme.com). - Click Find more to run AI and web search for additional competitor suggestions.
- Review the suggestion list. Click items to add them individually, or use Add all.
- Click Save to store your competitor list.
For stronger competitive prompts, keep Keywords and Use cases up to date as well.
Tips
- Include direct and adjacent competitors. AI often recommends alternatives buyers might not have considered.
- Use consistent naming. Pick either brand names or domains and stick with one style when possible.
- Run Find more periodically. New entrants appear in categories over time; refresh your list quarterly.
- Update your company overview first. Better profile context improves discovery quality.
- Do not list partners or customers. Keep this list focused on brands that compete for the same AI recommendations.

How many competitors should I add?
There is no fixed limit. Start with your top 5–10 direct rivals and expand with Find more as needed.

Yes. Setup health marks this step complete when you have at least one competitor saved.
