Anyone evaluating Obsurfable for the first time — in-house marketers, founders, or agencies trying the App before Pro or Agency.

Prerequisites

  • Work email you can confirm.
  • Company website URL.
  • ~15–30 minutes for onboarding.

Step-by-step

1. Sign up for the trial

  1. Go to app.obsurfable.com/signup.
  2. Create an account with email and password.
  3. Confirm your email from the message we send.
  4. You enter a 24-hour Pro trial without adding a card.

2. Complete onboarding

Follow the onboarding wizard: company name, website, competitors, topics, and intended positioning. This is what the App uses to match Explorer evidence.

3. Open Overview and refresh coverage

  1. You land on Overview (/).
  2. Coverage starts as warming until enough matched prompts and observations exist (about 25 matched prompts and 40 observations).
  3. Use Refresh coverage when prompted so Visibility and Opportunities can compute.

4. Walk the App loop

  1. Visibility — SoV, mention rate, source-to-mention.
  2. Evidence — matched prompts and answer previews.
  3. Opportunities — prioritized findings.
  4. Actions — work items to close gaps.

5. Browse Explorer anytime

Open explorer.obsurfable.com to inspect the public corpus without changing your App plan.

6. Subscribe before the trial ends

Add a payment method in Settings / billing if you want to keep App access and unlock Content and Agent.

Tips

  • Accurate competitors and topic nudges improve matching more than anything else early on.
  • Don't expect Content or Agent during the trial — those are paid-gated.
  • Explorer stays free even if you don't subscribe.

FAQ

Do I need a credit card for the trial?

No. The 24-hour trial starts without a card.

What happens when the trial ends?

Without a payment method, App access ends. Subscribe to Pro or Agency to continue. Explorer remains free.

Can I skip onboarding?

No. The App requires a company website and completed onboarding before the main workspace.
